Joe Lynott

Joe was born in Scranton, PA (Insert witty The Office joke here).

The son of avid music fans, I remember watching my  dad tapping/drumming on the steering wheel in the car while the radio played, and I think that is where my sense of rhythm was born. 

I picked up the violin young, and was half decent, but longed to play a more rock instrument, and got my first drum set by saving money as a paper delivery boy (not fake news)

I gravitated to guitar, since it's a more portable instrument, and started writing tunes in high school.  

I spent a few years in Philadelphia as an aspiring singer-songwriter, joined the Marine Corps Reserves (2009 - Present), and focused on education/resume building in the professional/corporate world.

Recently I found myself writing more, and decided to record an EP in Nashville.  I worked with some of the greatest musicians and producers on the planet, who all seemed to enjoy what we were working on.

What's next?

That's the difficult question. I have some songs now, I'd like to share with anyone who will listen.  

 I don't know what the future holds, but if even just 1 person adds any of my songs to their playlist, I'd call that a win.
